This policy explains what information Orbixa News collects and why. We collect the minimum we need to run the site.
Analytics
We record aggregate page-view statistics (which articles are read, how often, and roughly where from) to understand what readers are interested in. This data is stored in daily aggregate form; we do not build individual visitor profiles or sell this data to anyone.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our daily digest, we store your email address and preferred language. Subscriptions use double opt-in: you must confirm via a link we email you before you receive anything. Every newsletter email includes an unsubscribe link that takes effect immediately, no login or explanation required.
Comments
When you post a comment, we store the name and email address you provide. Your email is never displayed publicly and is used only to contact you about your own comment if needed. We store a one-way hash of your IP address, not the address itself, to help prevent spam and abuse — this hash cannot be reversed back into your IP address.
Contact Form
Messages sent through our contact form, including your name, email, and message text, are stored so our editorial team can read and respond to them. We do not use this information for marketing.
Cookies & Sessions
We use a session cookie to keep our editorial team logged in to the admin system, and, where applicable, a similar mechanism to protect forms from cross-site attacks. We do not currently use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes, we will update this policy first.
