A cargo aircraft displaying Amazon branding was involved in a crash at Miami International Airport on Sunday afternoon. The Boeing 767-300, identified as 21 Air Flight 7598, overran the runway while landing at approximately 2 p.m. local time. The flight had originated from Luis Muñoz Marín International Airport in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Following the overrun, the aircraft struck vehicles located off the airport grounds. Emergency response was significant, with more than 60 units from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue dispatched to the site. Upon arrival, responders encountered the plane engulfed in flames and emitting dense smoke. The incident led to a temporary grounding of flights at the airport.

Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel stated that the company is collaborating with local authorities to investigate the event. "We can confirm that an Amazon Air plane operated by 21 Air experienced an incident while attempting to land at Miami International Airport today," Nantel said. "Right now, our absolute priority is the safety, well-being, and care of everyone involved."

While officials confirmed that the crash resulted in multiple injuries, the specific number of casualties and the severity of the damage remain under investigation.
