Carla Jeffery, an actress recognized for her recurring role as the cheerleader Bree in the Disney Channel's Zombies film series, has died at the age of 33. Her management agency, Alexanders Talent, confirmed the news, though no cause of death has been disclosed.
Jeffery’s career spanned over two decades. In addition to her work in the Zombies trilogy, which included installments in 2018, 2020, and 2022, she was known for her recurring appearance in the comedy series Curb Your Enthusiasm, where she portrayed a member of the Black family.
Following the announcement, tributes have poured in from colleagues and family. Her agent, Carla Alexander, remembered her as a "beautiful, vibrant and incredibly talented woman." Her twin brother, actor Carlon Jeffery, shared a heartfelt message on social media, expressing his pride in her resilience and the "light" she brought to those around her.
Co-stars also honored her memory. Chandler Kinney, who worked alongside Jeffery in Zombies, described her as a "sweetest, most sparkly gal" who possessed a "heart-of-gold." Actor Milo Manheim also paid his respects, calling her the "kindest, most loving person."
