Ahead of a scheduled August 12 event, new reports have surfaced regarding the specifications and pricing for Google's upcoming Pixel 11 smartphone series. The leaks suggest a shift in hardware configurations, including a reduction in RAM for the Pro models and the foldable variant.
The base model Pixel 11 is expected to retail for $899, representing a $100 increase over its predecessor. To offset this, Google is reportedly doubling the entry-level storage capacity to 256GB. However, the device will move to a dual rear camera system, omitting the telephoto lens found in previous iterations.
The Pixel 11 Pro and Pixel 11 Pro XL are slated for price increases as well, with starting points of $1,099 and $1,299, respectively. Both Pro models, along with the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, are expected to feature 12GB of RAM. The Pixel 11 Pro Fold is anticipated to carry a starting price of $1,899. Across the entire lineup, Google will implement the new Tensor G6 processor and the Titan M3 security chip, while display specifications are expected to remain consistent with the previous generation.
