The September/October 2026 installment of Puzzle Corner has been published, offering readers a new collection of challenges. The column is curated by Michael S. Branicky, ScD ’95, alongside the Puzzle Corner Puzzle Crew (PC2), which includes Edward Faulkner ’03, MEng ’04, and Abe Kunin ’03.
In addition to new problems, the current issue provides solutions for the puzzles presented in the May/June edition. Readers are invited to submit their own problems, solutions, and feedback to the editorial team by October 1.
The Puzzle Corner column has a history dating back to 1966, when it was established by editor emeritus Allan Gottlieb ’67. Archives of past columns are available online, with records through 2022 hosted at NYU and more recent entries accessible via the MIT Technology Review website.
