NASA has announced a new partnership to bring its streaming content to Amazon Fire TV Channels. Users of compatible devices can access the agency's programming by using Alexa voice commands.

The expansion aims to fulfill the agency's mandate to share space exploration stories with a wide audience. According to Rebecca Sirmons, general manager of NASA+ at the agency’s Washington headquarters, the move is part of a broader effort to provide transparent and engaging coverage as the agency works toward establishing a lunar base. "The National Aeronautics and Space Act of 1958 calls on us to share our story of space exploration with the broadest possible audience, and our streaming partners help us accomplish that," Sirmons stated.

Future content slated for the platform includes robotic lunar deliveries, upcoming science mission launches, and the first crewed Artemis mission to the Moon. This initiative aligns with NASA's broader strategy to increase the visibility of its lunar exploration goals and mission milestones across various digital devices. NASA+ will continue to be available as a free, ad-free service via the official NASA website and mobile application.
