Amazon is offering a discount on the 55-inch version of Samsung’s The Frame, bringing the price down to $697.99. This represents a reduction of approximately $200 from the standard retail price for the 2025 model.

Designed to function as both a television and a digital canvas, the device features a matte finish and customizable bezels intended to mimic the appearance of framed artwork. The unit is equipped with a 4K QLED panel, supports HDR10 Plus, and offers a 144Hz refresh rate with variable refresh rate capabilities.

Connectivity is managed through an external One Connect box linked by a single cable. This hub includes four HDMI ports—one of which supports 4K at 144Hz for gaming, while another provides eARC support for audio equipment—alongside two USB-A ports, an Ethernet connection, optical audio, and a coaxial input.

While the television offers a unique aesthetic, prospective buyers should note that it may not match the performance of other displays in the same price bracket. Technical evaluations indicate that The Frame often exhibits lower peak brightness, reduced color accuracy, and less effective black levels compared to standard televisions, which can influence the viewing experience for cinematic content and gaming.
