NASA astronaut Anil Menon is scheduled to participate in an Earth-to-space call with students in New Hampshire on Thursday, Sept. 24. During the event, Menon will address a series of prerecorded questions regarding science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) while currently stationed aboard the International Space Station.

The live broadcast is set to commence at 11:40 a.m. EDT and will be available for public viewing via the Learn With NASA YouTube channel. The McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center in Concord is hosting the event, which is designed to engage K-12 students and local community members in discussions about space exploration and potential career paths in STEM fields.

The International Space Station has served as a continuous human presence in orbit for over a quarter-century, facilitating research that supports NASA’s broader goals. These include preparing for long-duration missions to the Moon under the Artemis program and future exploration of Mars, as well as fostering commercial growth in low Earth orbit.

Members of the media wishing to cover the event are required to submit an RSVP to Kelly Thompson at kthompson@starhop.com by 5 p.m. EDT on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
