NASA has announced a new partnership with the National Football League (NFL) designed to highlight advancements in aeronautics and space exploration. The collaboration, titled the Inspiration Tour, will feature astronaut appearances, fan engagement activities, and aerial flyovers at various NFL stadiums throughout the upcoming season.

NASA Administrator Jared Isaacman stated that the initiative serves as a platform to inspire future generations by showcasing the agency's current work, including lunar exploration efforts, fission-powered spacecraft development, and aeronautics research. The flyovers will utilize NASA’s specialized fleet of aircraft, which are typically employed for high-altitude research and astronaut training, while also serving to demonstrate technologies relevant to commercial aviation.

The Inspiration Tour is set to conclude with a two-day public exposition called MAX POWER, scheduled for November 7 and 8. Taking place at and near the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the event will display various autonomous vehicles, aircraft, and spacecraft in celebration of the nation's 250th anniversary.
